Learning isn’t Learning until there’s Behaviour change

Train the right people, for the right reason, in the right way, at the right time.

Training Topics I deliver

Leadership

People will follow what you do, not what you say, and they can tell when your inauthentic about it. Learn how to be real in it.

Management

The old saying about what gets measured is what gets done is just that; old. Learn how to rethink what we manage.

Team Building

The team you are a part of is more important than the team you manage, learn how to know when to switch it up.

Change Management

Change is done is two parts; transition, the emotional journey, and change; the tactical one. Learn which one to focus on.

Neuro Diversity at Work

There’s no one size fits all. And there’s no deficit, or dysfunction. Learn how to embrace the neuro diversity in your work

Emotional Intelligence

This isn’t the victory of the head over the heart, or the heart over the head. Learn how it’s the unique intersection of both.

Coaching Skills

Coaching isn’t mentoring, and it isn’t counselling. Learning to know the difference will save time, and money.

Safety Leadership

Looking for weak signals, having chronic unease is just the beggining. Learning how to have safety conversations, safely, keeps people alive.

Creativity & Innovation

When fear, fast results, and a frantic pace are your everyday the mind goes into a threat response. Learn how to connect and contain creativity.

Stress Management

The nervous system is always sending signals about what’s right and wrong, good and bad. Learn how to tune into the resilience and adaptability you need.

Training Philosophy

At the heart of my work is understanding that one size does not fit all. In any given group there will be different learning styles, different learning needs, and different contexts to apply that learning in. Because of this I’m always working toward the business results the learning will apply to.

Training Design

I rarely use slides, preferring flip charts and they transfer information, live, in real time. I pace my session out into 20 minutes chunks. This means 20 minutes of experience/activity, 20 minutes of debrief and content discussion, and 20 minutes of application. I follow the 4-MAT process in my facilitation style. And I always question people’s reason for being in the session (yes, even the hostages who don’t want to be there :).
